Riverlands Tennis Carnival

Overview
Our client enlisted us to capture the vibrant energy and community spirit of the Riverland Tennis Carnival, a two-day event held across four towns: Barmera, Berri, Loxton, and Renmark. The carnival aimed to promote tennis in the region and attract players to future festivals, making dynamic and engaging visual content a key priority.

Our role involved photographing high-energy action shots of players during competitive matches, complemented by aerial drone footage that showcased the courts, surrounding landscapes, and bustling activity at each venue. By combining ground-level photography with sweeping aerial views, we aimed to convey both the excitement of the games and the picturesque charm of the Riverland region.

The deliverables were crafted to shine on social media, with high-quality visuals that captured the intensity of the matches, the beauty of the local scenery, and the welcoming atmosphere of the participating clubs. This project highlighted our ability to operate across multiple locations under tight timelines, producing content that celebrated the event and supported its growth in future years.

Approach
This project required careful planning and execution to capture the event’s essence across four towns. Preparation began with detailed research of each location, including site layouts and optimal shooting spots, ensuring we could capture the action and scenery in the best light possible.

Safety and compliance were integral to our workflow. For drone operations, we adhered to all CASA regulations under Standard Operating Conditions (SOC). Clear communication with event organizers ensured the smooth integration of drone use. On-site, we conducted briefings with players, spectators, and staff to inform them about drone activity and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone

.During the event, we captured a mix of intense action shots from ground level and unique aerial perspectives of the courts and surrounding areas. The aerial footage not only highlighted the scale and setting of the carnival but also showcased the Riverland region’s natural beauty.

Post-production focused on enhancing the visual impact of the media. Action shots were refined to emphasize the energy of the players, while aerial footage was edited to highlight the vibrant atmosphere and professional quality of the venues. Every image and video was optimized for social media, aligning with the client’s promotional objectives.

By combining thorough preparation, precise execution, and polished post-production, we delivered a captivating visual narrative that celebrated the Riverland Tennis Carnival’s success and inspired greater participation in future events.
