Overview
Our client requested an aerial inspection of their property’s roof and gutter system to identify potential issues and assess maintenance needs. The goal was to pinpoint any structural concerns, such as damage or wear, and determine whether the gutters required cleaning or repair.

Using advanced micro-drones, we conducted a thorough inspection of areas that are typically difficult to access, such as steep angles, joints, and high sections of the roof. This method eliminated the need for scaffolding or ladders, ensuring a safe and efficient process.

During the inspection, we identified several concerns, including rusted metal sections and compromised flashings. These findings provided the client with actionable insights to address critical maintenance tasks and protect their property from further damage. This project demonstrated the efficiency of drone technology in capturing precise, high-resolution visuals of hard-to-reach areas, delivering clear and practical results for property maintenance.

Approach
Our process began with a consultation to understand the client’s specific concerns and determine priority areas for inspection, such as vulnerable joints, gutters, and flashing. This planning ensured the inspection was focused and efficient.

We utilized micro-drones equipped with high-definition cameras to capture clear footage of the roof and gutters. These drones were ideal for navigating complex angles and elevated sections safely, without requiring manual climbing or heavy equipment.

The inspection revealed areas of concern, such as rust spots on the metal roofing and deteriorated flashings. By capturing detailed imagery, we provided the client with a comprehensive view of the problem areas, enabling them to prioritize necessary repairs.

Looking ahead, we are exploring ways to enhance the service by including an annotated report with visuals, clear findings, and repair recommendations. This would streamline communication with contractors and provide property owners with a complete roadmap for addressing issues.
