The right aircraft for the job
Most roof inspections are flown with a sub-250 g micro drone - about the weight of an apple. It is quiet, stays well clear of people and neighbouring property, and works in close around gutters, valleys, flashings and ridge lines without anyone setting foot on the roof.
Larger aircraft are available where a building genuinely needs them. The pilot is rated to fly up to 25 kg, so the aircraft is chosen to suit the job - not the other way around.
Access is planned before we arrive. Most inspections are flown in under an hour, with no scaffolding, no ladders and no interruption to the people using the building.

Written condition summary

Report depth varies by tier — Basic is capture only, with the written summary and fully annotated report included from Standard upwards.
